The Family Bloodshed

1.The Killer is at Large

Two nights have past and still no sign of him anywhere. My group members, well I should say the strays, have been searching for hours. Her eyes glanced at me with a sparkling shine in them. What was so creepy was that there was no light anywhere near, not even from the moon. I just know something bad was to take place, and soon.

One month earlier

“Don’t you think you have had enough? You’re starting to creep me out” Saeki, a no town girl whom seem to stand out, is my best friend. We met five years earlier in an orphanage. Her parents were murdered. Each stabbed twice, once in the stomach and the second time their throats were slashed open. She had discovered her parents dead when she arrived home from her schools field trip from the mountains. When the police finally arrived they asked Saeki some questions but she was in such a shock that she was at a loss of words. They asked her more and more questions but she never responded.
I still remember when she placed into the same orphanage as me, with her beauty that had hypnotized me, with her silky brown hair and her dazzling eyes that glistened as the ceiling lights hit them. Her actions were saying “Leave me alone”, but I going try and become her friend, I at least could understand what she was going through.
“No, and besides we always have done this before, what is wrong with doing this now you always liked scaring others,” Then there was me. I started living in the orphanage before Saeki arrived; the only difference between us was that I couldn’t really remember how my parents died. All that I could remember is waking up alone, so I assumed that I had no parent’s. It was as if when I woke up that night I was born. I couldn’t remember anything, no memory of how to eat or anything else. All I could remember was how to talk, walk, eat, sleep and breathe.
I was an outcast that was found on a cold night in front of a park, and only a bruise that was left on my leg that never went away. I can still remember the sounds in an ear shot distance. The cicadas chirping, a water fountain that was only a few feet away from the parks center and a mysterious buzz noise that ranged in my ears that the chilly air carried throughout the park like a fire speeding bullet that had just been shot straight the air and into my ear drums in a half a seconds time. It never left my hearing after five years time. My black hair left a reflecting light as the full moon’s shine shot down into my scalp. My green eyes reflecting the streets lights, which was probably the reason why I still remember conscience, at least until my eyes closed finally from lack of sleep, but what had kept me from falling asleep that night was the constant buzzing noise that kept ringing in my ear. But what had fully startled me, was when the buzzing was replaced by screaming. Constant screaming that seemed like people were in pain and were suffering; one person after another.
I found out the following week when I was in the orphanage that all were screaming were actually only two people. They were both high school students, two high school students whose names were Morina and Nauru, two high school students whose names where Morina and Nauru who were my sister and my brother. The police told me this and all I responded back with was, “who?”
Things never turned out as they seemed, when Saeki and I first laid our eyes on each other we both knew we had the same qualities, the same minds. It seemed as if we were separated at birth, we both had something to accomplish and something to gain in the process.
As two years past Saeki started to think of things that others would have been murderous, but she called it play. Once I caught her with a knife and she was cutting the orphanages cat. I thought it was funny, and soon I started helping with her mischievous games. She didn’t care, she preferred to do things herself, but with the two of use making skivvies plans together people started to think we were dating, but what they thought and what we did were completely different things.
One year after we had turned 16 a bunch of cases started to take place. They weren’t the usual crimes. It all involved one man and the bodies discovered. They were slashed open, their internal organs were all scattered outside of their bodies, and were formed like a pillow that the victims heads were laid upon the only organ that was missing when the organ were untangled was the heart. At first they searched everywhere for it, but gave up upon finding not far from the body was a completely scattered body. It was another person, her head was completely sliced open, her brain was completely sliced to look like it was spaghetti, her eyes the meat balls, all her organs, her intestine was sliced and wrapped around her neck like a neck tie, her stomach was flattened, only because it to had been sliced open and flattened, but not only that but her tongue sewed onto it so it looked like a purse. All the remaining organs were lit on fire, all that remained were a bunch of ashes, but they still weren’t hard to figure out because of the stench that was left behind.
Those two bodies that were announced on the news reminded me of what happened to the people the police said were my brother and sister. But I wasn’t scared, or sad for the matter of what happened to the two unsuspecting people that had been murdered.
“Hey, are you busy?” Saeki was looking right at me, with no expression at all in her face.”Here, take a look at this.” My eyes grabbed the paper from her hands, looked at her, her expression still hadn’t changed, so I didn’t ask any questions and started reading.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“With the case of the bloodshed killer still at large, every sign of the killer is, without a sense, everywhere. The killer was last heard of in a small town of Kyushu where two more people have been found dead. They were murdered the same way as in other cases. In all cases one male and one female, but at the time being had been true. They were all in their late teens and in their junior years. All trails are leading for the town of Fuyuoka.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After reading the article I looked up at Saeki, she was still emotionless. Though her eyes were saying something, I could always read her eyes ever since we met but right now that didn’t seem to be the case today.
“He’s coming this way. He knows that we are still alive and he probably has been planning on a way to kill us. That was probably why he killed all of those people, he was warning us.”
“Warning us for what? Our death is near?” throwing the paper in the trash, she just smiled.
“What are you planning on doing, running away, or fighting your way to his capture?”
I remained silent; I just needed a little time to plan out what I was going to do. Her smile remained as she turned to walk away.
“Wait. I have an idea. What if we act like he is going to win, but without him knowing we would just be planning a way to capture him.”
“That could work, or we could do this.” she stopped in her tracks, turned around and started walking towards me. As she approached me she started to whisper her plan.
